Adult Wheelchair Basketball: San Jose

Wheelchair basketball is a fast-paced team sport that challenges participants to improve their fitness, refine their skills, and have a lot of fun in the process. Participants often forge lasting friendships and make strong connections with the larger BORP community.

Anyone with a lower limb disability is encouraged to join us, regardless of athletic experience or skill. The program is mixed-gender, supportive, and welcoming.

BORP’s San Jose basketball program meets weekly at the Bascom Community Center. We provide basketball wheelchairs for participants if needed. Interested participants can join the BORP South Bay Sonics team, which competes in the California/Nevada League.
