Summary
Description
Paddling in gorgeous Tomales Bay! We have very limited space, and I want to make sure that each of you has a great time. And, this is an ETC trip with ETC boats and gear, and it will be different from our usual BORP programming. Please carefully review the notes below and be sure that that is the right trip for you.
- We launch from a beach.
- We will primarily use human powered transfers, and a transfer bench if possible, or a milk crate transfer seat. No lift.
- Everyone will be in either a double or triple boat and will use PFDs and spray skirts.
- Expect to be in the boat for as much as 2 hours or more.
- Each person will bring their own lunch, snacks, and water.
- $40/person, scholarships available upon request.
- ETC is unable to accommodate service animals, kids under 10, or individuals over 250 lbs.
- There is limited adaptive equipment available, they offer "the Adventure Maker" chair for enhanced back support - it's something like a crazy creek chair. Talk to me directly if the Angle Oar or adaptive equipment is essential to your paddling.
- Must arrive at Heart's Desire Beach between 9 - 9:30 am (~1.5 hours from Berkeley).
- Expect to be leaving Heart's Desire Beach around 2:30 - 3 pm
Check out ETC's page for more information on this adventure.
